Group work can definitely heighten and strengthen your connection with spirit. There's something about a group dynamic that can't be easily explained. You often see it during concerts and sports events; people get carried away in a frenzied high. When people gather together, there's an energetic multiplying factor that happens. This can be a very powerful when practicing an energy modality or meditation exercises. one person meditating is good then five is better.
I personally think that when someone is in the beginning stages of a meditation practice, they can raise their vibration higher by tapping in and working with a group dynamic. In the beginning, nothing can compare to working with like-minded people who share the same goal. Each person raises the level of energy and multiplies it, lting each other up.
The group can help you find a new level of consciousness. To a level you wouldn 't have previously experienced, it weren't for the group effect. Once you have experienced this level, it's easier to obtain it when meditating alone.
A highly charged group atmosphere also makes it easier for your Angels, Guides and loved ones to come through. You may also feel safer in a group of trusted friends than alone. More people will pull in a far greater number of Spirits, Guides and Angels, which make for easier connections.
It's hard sometimes for us to tell when a loved one in spirit form is around. They may have a similar vibration, or we've grown so used to them that we can no longer feel they're there. We may also want to hear from them so badly that we can't really tell we're making it up or not. W hen your friends in the group bring their loved ones, who have passed, that energy will be unique and dferent. You know the traits of your loved ones, but you don 't know the traits of your group members. Receiving veriable communication from a spirit presence that doesn't belong to you is very affirming. It's these veriable facts that make the experience tangible and real. Once you have identied a group member's loved ones, you will trust your own instincts about your loved ones.
Doing group work can take you from just being a dabbler of the psychic arts to being a true artist. You should think about the group you're getting evolved with as you were starting or joining a creative circle. A few questions to ask yourself before joining or asking someone to join a group might include: are these people going to bring out the greatest and best in me? Will I bring out the best in them? Will I be able to learn from this group or will I be doing the teaching? Is it for my highest good to take the lead and teach a group? Would it might be better I sit back and allow my self to be taught? Every group needs someone who can take the lead, teach, and be the facilitator once in a while. It can be draining you're expected to lead all the time.
Use your intuition and communication with your Angels and Guides to sort out your needs and goals.
When I started doing this professionally I took some classes from a wonderful teacher; then, looked around for other classes that could take me to the next level. After a couple of disappointing experiences, I decided that I would start my own meditation circle once a week and host a healing party once a month. I really wanted someone who had been a working medium for years to come and teach me everything that I needed to know. Under this desire was a perfectly good reasoning: I had a great teacher, then, I wouldn 't have to worry about screwing up. I would make no mistakes and—poof—I would be the perfect medium.
Hmm … didn't work out that way. What I kept getting, over and over again, was that I had reached an apex working with teachers. Even though I didn't feel like I knew enough, I knew enough.
The only way anyone gets a letime of reading experience is by being a reader for a letime. I had been a reader in countless letimes before and I had the knowledge, the experience, and the ability. It was time for me to actually discover this. Whether I believed in me or not, my Guides did. It was my time to start and it was time for me to teach. Although I felt inadequate in my knowledge I knew a lot more than most, and I was willing to share it.
