Clairvoyance, the third eye, the sixth chakra, these are just a few names used to describe the psychic eye of the soul. The most common symbol for this center is the 'Eye of Horus' inside a triangle. The Eye of Horus represents all seeing and implies all knowing. An example of the 'All Knowing Eye' is on the back of the one-dollar bill, it's on top of the pyramid.
I like to separate clairvoyance into two categories: inner sight and outer sight. Most of my spiritual communication takes place inside rather than outside of my mind: I call that inner sight. Inner sight sometimes looks like movie clips, slide shows, and even flash cards. When you develop your inner sight, you will also develop the outer sight. As you increase and strengthen your third eye you will often be able to see the physical movement of energy, spirits and entities traveling through space and time in our dimension. Even be able to see aura and colors to people, animals, plants and even things.
Inner sight is particularly great for communication and assisting people with readings and spiritual counseling. Outer sight is more commonly used to help locate lost souls that are wandering and need to be assisted into the light. Outer sight can let you know when your Angels and Guides have gathered around to help you, or alert you when you have unwanted company. Both are a form of clairvoyance and when used together are extremely powerful.
I believe the true definition of outer s ight is the ability to see psychic phenomenon happen without using inner sight at all. The entire process happens right before your own two physical eyes.
The most powerful example of this that I can think of is light orbs and energy mass. I see them pretty regularly. I know they don't exist on a physical level, because it would be impossible to create them with current technology. I often see the light orbs in two forms. The f irst is something looking like a bubble, sometimes showing up in photographs. I see them not in photographs but shooting across and/or floating through the room. They come in various colors. When they occur in photographs, they are usually dismissed as light refractions from dust particles. The second is something looking exactly like a single twinkle light; they just pulse a tiny flash of light. Just appearing and disappearing for no apparent reason, these orbs tend to show up most when I'm doing lots of energetic work, meditation or spirit circles. The physical energy ma ss shows up as either an undefined dense mass of energy or a full detailed apparition.
Once, my friend Nick went running into my spare bedroom looking out the window trying to see who was running through the back yard with a flash light. I had a 6 foot fence and a large dog. Trust me; there was no one back there. So I asked him he was sure it was outside the w indow not inside … in the house. He turned a little white and said, "Oh my God, it was in the house, but how…?" I explained to him that I have often seen it too. It was just Claire, a ghost that came with the house. We both laughed.
It's very hard for a spirit to appear in a full apparition in striking detail in front of you, so it doesn't happen very often. However it does happen, and when it does, pay attention! They h ave expended a lot of energy to appear this way, so make sure to take notes. Every single aspect probably means something.
Children and dogs seem to have a natural gt for outer sight. Often you will see a child or dog staring or playing with something that appears not to be there. I used to watch George my big dog, play with Claire. It was like watching George chase a firefly through the house. I have also heard stories where parents have caught their child playing with an imaginary friend and ask the child to describe the friend. The child then describes a relative that had passed before they were born.
I use inner sight when I'm receiving visual messages from spirit. Ba sically, I see a b lank white screen across the front of my mind and just allow the images to form. Sort of like watching a movie, but most times the pictures are stills. However it's important for me to realize that I'm not working the projector. I'm merely observing the show. The images are being sent from spirits and, of course, my guides who are conveying messages.
I was reading for a woman a few years back, and thought it was just going to be a general le path reading. We sat down, I turned on the tape and I closed my eyes. Instantly, I had this mans face in my own. His face was so full and big it was hard for me to see the outer part of his head. Thank goodness he was off center, or all I would have seen was his eyes. This image was so powerful and strong, there wasn't any doubt in my mind that I was being contacted by a strong spirit who wanted to get his message across... NOW. Because of the sensations I was getting, and the fact that he looked just like her, I knew he was a relative. It was her younger brother who had passed and he had several messages for her.
Pictures are worth a thousand words and are a clear concise way to convey information. Many people notice the images are flashes, only lasting for split seconds. That's why it's important to pay close attention to every detail. you receive a picture of a woman, you will want to note: What she is wearing? What is the image color? Is she holding anything? How is the hair worn? I know this sounds like a 'renaissance painting art appreciation class' but every element has a signicant meaning.
I commonly receive self-portraits of the spirit who is coming through, but for my grandmother, I always get a single red rose, fully open. Why fully open? Because she passed later in le and her name was Rose. It can't get clearer than that. Sometimes spirits will come up with unique identiers, so you have instant recognition of them and can then move onto the message.
Clairvoyant contact is pretty concise but clairvoyant messages can be confusing and misleading. You may receive an image of a hairbrush, so you think: bathroom, grooming, or tidiness. This is where patience and honesty will pay off. I always tell people that I'm going for honesty, not accuracy. This way I don't have to be wrong or right, I just have to be honest. Reporting what I see, hear, sense, and/or feel.
Clairvoyance is similar to playing pictionary with spirit, and not every spirit plays it exactly the same way. I have a client I read for on a regular basis, and her father often comes into the readings. During a previous phone reading I kept getting a picture of a hairbrush, and it didn't mean anything to either of us. So I made a mental note of it then let it go and we moved on.
During a more recent phone reading, remember I hadn't physically seen her in over a year, dad came through again. I started getting a mental flash of hair comb, the type you use to keep long hair in place. I kept seeing it move down through long flowing rich brunette hair. "I know you wear your hair short, but I keep getting this hair comb and long hair," I said. She instantly responded, "Oh my gosh, I've been growing my hair out." Then I heard an old bible phrase 'a woman's hair is her glory.'This was Dads way of letting her know that he still could see her and liked her in long hair. After all, he was showing me brushes and combs, not scissors.
It was also a nice confirmation because I hadn't seen her in over 12 months and she was three thousand miles away. There was no other way for me to know except for her Dad sending me this message.
Your guides will work with the spirit on the other side, prepping them and assisting them in sending clear messages that you the medium will understand. Your job as the medium is to pay attention and learn from previous readings, so your guides have a reference list of the images you know and understand. Now I know that hairbrush es and combs can mean growing your hair, and not tidiness. As our experience grows, so does our visual vocabulary, each experience building on the previous. You can expedite this process by reading up on what dferent colors mean and their visual communications. This way, your guides have more to work with from the very beginning. Your personal symbolic references can be shared with the communicating spirit., creating a richer vocabulary.
The form of sight that is most common is an integration of both inner and outer sight. It can best be described as watching a security video monitor. Have you ever sat next to a security camera that was filming people walking by just a few feet away? You watch the video monitor and then look at the people, then back to the monitor, and so forth. Now imagine that when you look back at the lobby it's empty but you can see them on the monitor. Your senses tell you there are people there, but you can only see them on the monitor. The physical eyes can't see what the monitor sees.
Now imagine that the monitor is right behind your eyes, and it superimposes the vision of the people onto your field of vision. Your eyes are open and you can see the people, but you still know they're not physically there.
To keep this world functioning most of us are limited in our outer sight and must use a combination of inner and outer sight for communication.
I was once chatting online to a young friend, who was intrigued that I was a psychic medium. As we were chatting away, I could see an elder woman standing next to my computer. It's the outer sight that alerted me that someone was there. I could clearly see energy mass and felt a presence. Using my inner sight I got a detailed picture of her. Using my other senses I got messages of what I was supposed to relay to him. The great thing about how she came through to get her message across is very important; she didn't have to use a lot of time and energy creating a full physical form next to my computer. She simply placed her energy there so I could see an energy form, and then used an easier form of communication to get her point across.
Most practicing adult mediums use a lot of inner sight to compensate and strengthen the outer sight. Some people wonder: how strong does your outer sight need to be? I believe that we only need outer sight to be strong enough for us to know something is there, and then we can use other methods of communication. our outer sight were as strong as our physical sight then everything would look like one big superimposed reality. There you would see several worlds layered one on top of another. This would clearly make daily chores or driving impossible.
